Many Cultural Memories are at RISK because they were recorded on tape media that can disintegrate and may be lost forever. NOW they can be saved and digitally restored. Our professional team guides artists and organizations through their collection rescue process and helps capture their context and purpose, making these stories more relatable and accessible online for today’s audiences.

Let's not lose the valuable stories collected over the past decades that serve as a "Window into Time". We need to immediately help artists and documentary producers archive and preserve our stories and performances, often hidden away in poor storage conditions.

Minnesota Media Arts is non-profit actively responding to this “crisis” that our cultural heritage will be compromised or possibly lost forever due to videotape deterioration and playback equipment disappearing.

MN Media Arts provides educational resources with professional consulting services in media archive project coordination, media asset preparation, digital media conversion and distribution services. Your support will help expand our capabilities and assist in providing funding and subsidized services to MNMA members, individual artists, and nonprofit arts and cultural organizations.
